Return & Refund Policy

We want every party to go smoothly. If something isn’t right with your order, this policy explains how returns, refunds and replacements work at The Partyware.

30-day returns

You can return unopened, unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method.

Items that can’t be returned

Because many of our products touch food, we can’t accept returns of the following for hygiene and safety reasons:

• Opened packs of plates, napkins, cups, cutlery, cocktail picks or other food-contact tableware
• Inflated, opened or used balloons
• Used or assembled decorations, stands and backdrops
• Personalized or custom items
• Gift cards
• Items marked “final sale”

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, email info@thepartyware.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will send a free replacement or a full refund for those items, including any shipping cost — you won’t need to pay for return shipping.

How to start a return

Email info@thepartyware.com with your order number, the items you want to return and the reason. We’ll reply with return instructions and the return address. Please don’t send items back without contacting us first — returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

Return shipping

For returns of unwanted items (change of mind, wrong color or size ordered, over-ordering), the customer pays return shipping, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend a trackable shipping service, as we can’t refund items lost on the way back to us.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to post it. If you used free shipping and your return brings the remaining order below $35, the standard shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different design, size or color is to return the unopened item for a refund and place a new order.

Order cancellations

You can cancel an order free of charge before it is packed. Email info@thepartyware.com as soon as possible; once an order has shipped, it can be returned under this policy instead.

Party-date guarantee

We can’t refund shipping or items because a package arrived after your event if the order was placed after the “order by” date shown on the collection page or if a delay was caused by the carrier. Please order early for important dates.
